cDc (Cult of the Dead Cow) Formed in 1984 at the Farm Pac slaughterhouse in Lubbock, Texas by Grandmaster Ratte’ (a.k.a. Swamp Ratte), Franken Gibe, and Sid Vicious, Three BBS SysOps.

The cDc seemed to be at the forefront of the hacker undergound. One of the cDc members named Drunkfux was responsible for starting the first hacker con. HoHoCon was usually held in Houston, Texas. They would even invite journalists and law envorcement to the events. The ended up hosting a total of 5 events.

The were also the first hacker group to have their own Usenet netwsgroup, alt.fan.cult-dead-cow. That was in 1994, and at that time the cDc claimed that they were responsible for giving Ronal Reagan Alzheimer’s disease with a blowgun in 1986. In 1995 cDc declared all at war on the Church of Scientology (Thank YOU!).
