Sir Tim Berners-Lee
Is the creator of the all mighty World Wide Web.
While he was working with CERN, a European nuclear research organization, he created a hypertext prototype. He originally created it to help researchers streamline the way they shared and updated relevant information. He later spawned the ideas of TCP and DNS which lead to the creation of the WEB.
Tim was hacking access to Oxford University computer while he was a student there. He was caught and banned from university computer systems. He later created a computer himself with a soldering iron.
An electronic pioneer, he also founded the W3C - World Wide Web Consortium all free of charge.
